Lodging

Dorm Information

On our Registration site, there is an option to stay in a single or double dorm room in Peterson Hall. Peterson is adjacent to the College of Pharmacy. The dorm floors are co-ed and have single restrooms on each floor. To see the floor plans for the single and double rooms, follow the link HERE

If you are unable to check out with a dorm room, it means that the dorms are filled. Remove the dorm from your cart and proceed with check-out. If dorms are filled or you would prefer to stay in a hotel, there are rooms reserved at Courtyard by Marriott - Iowa City, University Heights.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Angie at angie-tiedt@uiowa.edu.

Hotel

To make a reservation at the Courtyard Mariott, call the number below and use the group code MSA or follow the link HERE to make a reservation through their website. There are single and double rooms available. It is a 0.6 mile (15-minute walk) from the Hotel to the College of Pharmacy. Parking is available at the hotel for those staying there.

NOTE: The last day to book rooms at the Marriott using our code is Wednesday, May 1, 2024. There may still be rooms available after that date, but there is no guarantee.

Wifi Options

EduRoam

EduRoam provides the best experience for University of Iowa campus visitors. Since UI Wireless is part of the EduRoam initiative, when students, faculty, and staff visit other academic institutions that use EduRoam, they automatically are connected to wireless internet without reentering credentials. Please see your respective university's IT website below for information about EduRoam access.

Guest WiFi

UI also has free guest WiFi; although we recommend connecting to EduRoam for a more secure connection. To connect to the guest WiFi, select "UI-Guest" from your WiFi options and agree to the terms and conditions.
